Should there be any reason to evacuate the building - e.g. fire alarm - please follow colleagues onto the AstroTurf and line up out there in your schools.

If you have any safeguarding concerns on the day, please check the posters around the school site or report to one of the Trust DSLs onsite, including Gary Phillips, Alison Harbottle and Maria Chalcroft.

Yes, this is essential! Please make sure that you wear your school lanyard at all times, as well as your conference ID sticker which you will get when you sign in in the morning. This is to ensure site security.

The conference helpdesk will be able to provide a printout of your personalised timetable on the day.

A choice of hot meal at lunchtime (chicken / vegan / vegetarian, gluten-free) is provided on the day for all members of staff who have registered. If you would prefer something else, please bring your own lunch. Please do not take a lunch if you have not signed up for one - you will be taking it away from another member of staff.

Registration opens at 8:00am for a prompt 9:00am start. The final Keynote sessions end at 3:15pm and the conference site closes at 4:00pm.

The conference email address is conference@tcset.org.uk. There will also be a conference helpdesk on the day in the conference reception area.

You do not have to attend if you do not normally work on Mondays. However, you are welcome to attend and can claim one day’s overtime.

No. Parking is extremely limited on site and will be restricted to conference facilitators and any staff with a blue disability badge. There are cycle bays on the school site or staff are encouraged to get public transport on the day.

Public transport

- The Charter School East Dulwich is a brief (5min) walk from East Dulwich train station, served by national rail from London Bridge via Tulse Hill, and is directly served by bus routes 37 and 42.

- Lordship Lane is a short walk way and well served with bus routes 40, 176, 185 and P13.

- Denmark Hill station is a 20min walk and served by bus routes 40, 176 and 484.

Bicycle 

There are onsite bike racks inside the front entrance area on East Dulwich Grove.

PLEASE NOTE: the main entrance to the school is on East Dulwich Grove; the Jarvis Road entrance will not be accessible to conference attendees on the day.

Yes – the WiFi login will be shared on the day.

No. However, there will be a photographer on site. If you do not wish to have your photograph taken, please let the photographer know on the day.

Smart casual clothes are acceptable.

No. You can choose to attend for your normal hours, though you are of course welcome to stay for the whole day. Please speak to your Line Manager.

The school has several water stations around the site where you will be able to refill your own water bottle with chilled and filtered water – please remember to bring a water bottle with you.
